BaumEntscheid is growing into a Germany-wide movement for local climate adaptation. To do this, we need all kinds of support. Would you like to help? Then you’ve come to the right place! Find your own way to contribute at BaumEntscheid so that we can achieve great things together and make Berlin climate resilient.

Would you like to support the movement for a climate-resilient Berlin with your signature?
If you haven’t come across BaumEntscheid on the street yet, a look at our collection map will show you locations with signature lists. Simply speak to the people there to support the movement for a climate-resilient Berlin directly from your neighbourhood. Alternatively, you can easily download your own signature list here.
1. Download*
Click on “Download signature list” to download your own signature list.
2. Sign
Fill out the signature list legibly in block letters and sign it.
3. Pass it on
Share your signature list with friends and family and have them sign as well.
4. Send off by 8 Nov.
Send your signature list by post to the address on the back by 8 November or drop it off at our offices by 9 November.

Don’t miss the second collection phase!
After our first collection phase for the application for a referendum, we will start the second collection phase next year. For us to achieve our goal of a climate-resilient Berlin, it is important that many people support us again with their signatures. If you would like to be notified when the collection starts, click here.

Would you like to collect signatures for BaumEntscheid and take the Berlin Climate Adaptation Bill to the streets? Together with many other volunteers, you can support BaumEntscheid locally in your neighbourhood. This is how it works:
1. Sign up
Click the button below to register.
2. Join a neighbourhood group
Join a neighbourhood group. If you have any questions, you can always contact the neighbourhood reps.
3. Receive material
The neighbourhood reps will provide you with materials* such as clipboards, pens and whatever else you need.
4. Get started
In consultation with your fellow campaigners, you can start collecting.
Hosting a signature list*
Do you run a shop, a café or another establishment? Would you like to support BaumEntscheid in collecting signatures? Then simply write an email to mitmachen@baumentscheid.de and you will receive materials from us to start your personal collection point.

Get involved
Do you also want to make a big difference? Well over 50 people are already committed to our cause in their free time. Click on the “Volunteer” button below if you also want to get involved and find out how you can support us. We are looking for support for events, demos and campaigns, as well as professionals for text, graphics or research. There are also many small tasks for which you do not need any previous experience. We promise, we will find a way for everyone to get involved in BaumEntscheid.

* According to Berlin legislation, signatures for citizen-initiated instruments of direct democracy (petition for a referendum, referendum) are only valid on paper, not digitally. That is why we are collecting signatures all over the city and why we request that you print out the signature lists.
